No one calls us when
things are going well.

Legal crises and life catastrophes never arrive on schedule or come with anything resembling an easy answer. They come when a marriage is ending, when a career or license is suddenly at risk, or a cause worth fighting for has run up against Goliath. In these moments, what's needed is judgment, discretion, and courage — a resolute advocate willing to place principles before popularity.

That's why we created Brown & Brown.

So we did things differently

Fewer matters. Fewer clients. More attention. More compassion. A deep and complete understanding of our client's darkest fears and uncertainties. Thoughtful care for the whole client. Wellbeing and curation of a life beyond the case. Discretion as a discipline, not an afterthought. Unrelenting courage when the fight is right, even when it isn't easy.

Validation instead of a case number — a person heard, instead of a fee processed.

Winston Churchill said "When you're going through Hell, keep going," and that's true, but if you find yourself in the Hell of professional discipline, executive crisis, or just plain catastrophe, it helps to have someone with you.

You are not a fee. You are not a trophy.

You're facing something hard, and we'll face it with you.
Never above you. Never below you. Always beside you.

Our process

  • Line drawing of a hand holding a smartphone.

    Consult

Every relationship starts with a conversation, not a contract. We listen first to understand what's actually at stake and determine if we're the right fit.

We do not charge for the initial consultation.

  • Icon of a person holding a checklist with a checkmark, representing task completion or review.

    Engage

If we're the right fit, we build the strategy together. You'll know exactly who will be handling your matter, what the plan is, and what to expect.

Then we jointly sign a written Engagement Letter.

    Advocate

Then we go to work — with judgment, discretion, and courage, for as long as it takes to see it through.

This is the part where you stop carrying it alone.

the best legal work happens when a firm is built with intention.

Brown & Brown was founded by Gregory and Kristi Brown. Between them, the founders have spent careers spanning decades in courtrooms in front of juries and around conference tables where the stakes were never abstract — a career on the line, a family in transition, a fight that mattered more than the fee attached to it.

That experience shaped a firm structured around a few things done well rather than everything done quickly: high-stakes civil litigation; collaborative divorce; and strategic advisory & crisis counsel. Different divisions, different clients, the same standard — judgment over volume, discretion over spectacle, and the courage to take the harder fight when it's the right one.
